Membership Code of Conduct

Immersive Experience Network is a collaborative community setup to fuel the growth of the emerging Immersive sector. By becoming a member you agree to abide by our core principles

  • Be supportive and collaborative

We are committed to creating an inclusive community for anyone involved in immersive work. Harassment or any violation of this code of conduct undermines the quality of our community. By following this code, we ensure a positive experience for everyone.

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, whether online or at our events. Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Offensive comments based on gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion.
  • Sexual remarks or images shared without consent.
  • Disruption of talks, events or our online slack community.
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Photographing or recording participants in online meetings without their explicit permission.
  • Sharing confidential information without consent.

Note: We may photograph or film our events for use on our blog and social media. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform a team member at the event or email contact@immersiveexperience.network beforehand.

Anyone asked to stop inappropriate behavior must comply immediately. If a violation is reported, Immersive Experience Network staff or event managers may take appropriate action. This could include a warning, removal from an event, or cancellation of membership without a refund.If you have concerns about this code of conduct, please contact andy@immersiveexperience.network or speak to a team member at an event. All reports will be handled confidentially.
