See No Hear No Speak No Evil – Chronic Insanity

Artist
Weds

Criminal Intent:
Relaxing inside a tent at a music festival, surrounded by strangers’ conversations, it’s like you’re invisible. Being invisible would be wonderful. Maybe they wouldn’t be able to find you. Using binaural audio Criminal intent is an intimate multi-sensory immersive experience for up to four audience members. An exciting, immersive experience from Chronic Insanity where a joyful music festival is torn apart by an escaped prisoner.

Shot in the Dark:
Shot in the Dark explores the evolving connection between two people through a digital camera found in a public space. The story centers around a hiker and a photography enthusiast, their bond developing as they capture and view moments through the lens of a camera. As they share these experiences, their relationship shifts from a platonic narrative to a more mysterious and unsettling one, as their shared connection is tested by an unexpected UFO conspiracy that starts to tear them apart. A literal found-footage film to be watched and perused as the audience sees fit.

FableMosh:
Imagine if, before watching a TV show, a film, a play, or listening to a radio drama you could choose which actors would be in it. What if you could customise your own version of a story, with your favourite performers, to create a telling of that story just for you. People already make these choices when it comes to video games, with character selection, so imagine the possibilities if this option could spread to more media. FableMosh is the first step for us in allowing the audience to have more control over the casting choices of the stories they are told. We are presenting our short play, Homunculus, in a way that allows you to not only choose who performs the play for you at the beginning, but change your performer throughout the show if you so desire, remixing the show in real time, and recontextualising the story as it is told by different people.
