Eddy Hackett
The Lost Estate

Eddy Hackett co-founded and is the Executive Producer of The Lost Estate, the UK’s leading immersive arts and hospitality company.

An commercially independent, artist-led company with sites in West Kensington and Peckham, TLE turns the stories of great art into transformational live experiences, fusing hospitality, world-class live performance and extraordinary immersive environments. TLE has bootstrapped to eight-figure revenue, welcoming over 250,000 guests to its productions, which include its 1930 Jazz Club 58th Street, 1950s Cuban cabaret spectacular Paradise Under the Stars and immersive ‘A Christmas Carol’ adaptation, The Great Christmas Feast.

Prior to co-founding The Lost Estate, Eddy was a freelance percussionist and educator for over 20 years. He has performed with over 30 leading symphony orchestras and opera houses (often as guest principal) including the Royal Opera House, London Philharmonic Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra. He continues to be a regular guest lecturer on the subject of arts entrepreneurship, working with institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Nottingham and Tokushima Bunri, in Japan. Eddy has designed and delivered two BA modules on the subject at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.

Eddy holds a BMus and LRAM from the Royal Academy of Music and a MMus from the Manhattan School of Music, where he was an entrance scholar and recipient of a MBF award, Countess of Munster scholarship and New York Philharmonic Stamas prize. As a student, he was a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester,
European Union Youth Orchestra Southbank Sinfonia.

In 2025, Eddy was conferred Associateship of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of his significant contributions to the music profession.
