Your Business is Creativity & Creativity is Your Business

  • Tues
  • ERIC

Too many creatively wonderful escape rooms fail as businesses… and too many financially viable escape rooms fail to deliver a good time.

Many escape room and immersive endeavors stem from strong creative vision and drive, or the pull of an unusual business opportunity. The hard truth: creatives can’t survive without business chops, and the business-folk would be so much better off if they invested in creative talent. You don’t have to be something your not, but you do need to learn, adapt, hire, or partner.

With more than a decade of exploring, observing, and analyzing the global escape room and immersive gaming space, David Spira will share practical tips and tricks to help balance out your business. This advice will be colored by his experience of turning his own creative endeavor into a proper business, as well as his experience of partnering with escape room companies from around the world to run escape room tours.
